The goals of the club are:
- To promote the breeding of pure Scottish Terriers
- To
adopt and publish the description of type and standard and to urge the
adoptions of this type on breeders, judges, dog show committees, etc.
as the recognized standard by which Scottish Terriers are to be judged
and which may in future be uniformly accepted as the standard of
excellence in breeding and in awarding prizes of merit to Scottish
Terriers.
- To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by offering prizes supporting certain shows and taking any other steps that may be deemed advisable.
